The Centre also houses Beechwood’s inspirational “Hall of Colours” that exclusively serves the memorial needs of our nation’s Canadian Forces and Veterans. Through the Hall’s beautiful memorial stained glass window, donated by the Canadian Military Chaplains’ Association, called “Hope in a Broken World,” sunlight adorns a stately black granite plinth, laid-up standards and the colours of Canada’s Military Regiments. The Hall of Colours has already received the Queen’s Colour of the Maritime Command (Navy) and the colours of two of Canada’s most distinguished regiments: the Royal Canadian Regiment and the Royal 22nd Regiment. Following tradition, they will remain honourably suspended and untouched, until with the passing of time they completely disintegrate.
