In 2001 the Beechwood Cemetery and the Polish Congress of Ottawa entered into an agreement to set aside a section for the exclusive use of families with Polish descent. More than 100 lots of varying sizes are within Station 11 of section 110 and will be used for many generations of the Polish community.

On November 1, 2007, the Polish Congress of Ottawa, in Partnership with the Beechwood Cemetery Foundation, completed a central feature dedicated to the Polish community of Ottawa.
