Beechwood's overriding goal is ensuring that, in perpetuity, the Cemetery will be operated and maintained in the highest order in memory, honour, and respect of those who have left this world before us.
On behalf of Canadians in the National Capital Region and across the nation, The Beechwood Cemetery Foundation, established in 2001 as a registered Canadian charity, is dedicated to the vigorous promotion of educational, historical, and religious activities at Beechwood. The Foundation also provides for the care and management of Beechwood's unrivaled amenities and facilities as one of Canada's most prized National Historic Sites; and attentively develops and maintains the National Military Cemetery of the Canadian Forces and the RCMP Memorial Cemetery.
